Snowy Spring Salutations!
First a howling blizzard woke us,
Then the rain came down to soak us,
And now before the eye can focus -
Crocus. ~Lilja Rogers
Today, March 20, 2010 at 12:32 p.m. Central Daily Time, marks the spring equinox which, astronomically speaking, marks the moment when the center of the sun’s disk appears directly overhead at the Equator. Day and night are roughly the same length of time, and Chicago gets some more snow. So celebrate! Warmer days are on the way!
